Freekander KeyFob Help

I live in Wigan.
I need a good ( cheap ) local tekky, to provide a new keyfob and to programme it for me, as well as cut me a new ignition key and programme that as well.

Any help would be much appreciated..

Ignition key will be a trip to your local main dealer, tried three Locksmiths (not shopping centre keys cut while you wait types!). Guy salmon in wakefield want about £150 for key. As for the fob, a good Locksmith should supply and programme you one for about £70. Ive had fob done but saving for key doing.

Can't any Freelander fob be synchronised to the vehicle?

My old rover 214 had the same fob as a disco and a hippo that suffered a flat battery, tried to sync it with a new battery in but after a ceertain amount of time (not sure how long) you cannot sync the fob without plugging into the ecu.
