No thanks, been there, bought the t-shirt and passed my test on one of these. The damage it did to my spine still gives me grief to this day. There's one a couple of miles away from me in the same condition, albeit now disappeared in the undergrowth. I cant see it's worth going to Italy to collect a Series 1, even if it's free. But I'm sure someone will.

It needs to be free given how much it needs just to make it remotely operational again!
Nice project for someone though if they've the inclination and knowledge to rebuild it and sources for parts needed.

maybe you needed to invest in some new leaf's? Never had a problem bouncing around in our S1 or the S2a (although the 2a has disco seats)
If i wanted a holiday to Italy at the same time i'd consider it, but, it is a lot of hassle just for a landy.

I was thinking of a little detour on route back from Morocco? Ok, would mean towing a MG around Morocco with us, but, i'm sure it'd work out - we might be able to ditch the MG in Spain for 2 weeks...

I sold it 40 years ago for £50 with new mot and tax
(just in case it's still about, the reg was XKO 120)
