Free Oil Filters

Just tried this - below is a copy of a thread stuckagainsteve posted on the RR bit of the forum:

EuroCarParts have a great offer on, buy QX oil and get a free oil filter, as our cars need over 5 litres - make that two free filters!

Enter your make and year of car, click on oil filters and note the part number of the most expensive one (it doesn't matter which one you choose!), go to lubricants and select the QX semi or fully synth oil for your car (it automatically lists the right grade for your car) add 2 lots to basket, add two oil filter to the basket by pasting the previously found part number in the search, click "view basket", enter coupon code BIGDEAL31 for an additional 31% off your total bill, additionally you'll notice the oil filters will now be listed as £0.00p. To top it all - free delivery or store pick up.

Bought 10 litres of fully synth and two quality Hength oil filters for my P38 - over sixty quids worth - £30.34.

Bought 10 litres of Ford spec fully synth and quality filters for my Brother's Jag, over eighty quids worth - £37.24.

Like I said I just tried it and it still works - 10litres of semi-synth oil and 2 Hength filters should be £77, but with the discount it came to £33 and with free delivery.

Top man, Just done this and it is working, my bill with 10ltrs qx semi and 2 hength filters was a grand total of £27.48.... spot on. might be gready and go for a duplicate order, nice one tsangpa. How did you find this one out !!!

hmm, i can get 31% off but not the free filters - but i can only choose Vavoline Engine Oil for my D1 - maybe it is specific to the oil?

ah - went the manual route by not entering my reg. no and found the right oil

OK, just managed to find what I want and got a great deal. 10 litres of semi synthetic and two oil filters for £27.58! Thanks for sharing the deal.

Just found it through trawling the forums - quality deal

Just been looking at this and its an ok deal but not a bargain.
The same oil Triple QX 10W40 semi synth is on ebay at £12.90 for 5 lt with free delivery.

Ok maybe not the bargain of the century, but 12.90 x2 is 25.80, so in my case i have got the above and then the 2 oil filters for a total of £1.68. Bargain..

is this an online only deal as I cant find the free filters so was going to call in at the kocal branch

Im sure its only an online deal as you have to put the code in mate, mind you they probably have stopped it now. It was only on for a short while..

Put your reg in and go to oil filters and it will tell you which ones you need - note the part number down then remove your reg number and manually select the oil, addd one or two to your shopping basket, then add the filters then input the code and the filters will show the price as £0.00

Just checked and it still works - it's an online deal. They won't tell you that there are free filters - it's a bit of a hidden deal, I think it's maybe been left on by accident.

Make sure you follow the instructions - choose the triple QX oil, then select oil filters, one per 5ltr of oil, then go to basket and in coupon code at bottom of page type BIGDEAL31 then click update, and you'll see the filters are now free and there's a 31% discount on your oil. If it hasn't changed hit update again, then choose home delivery or collect at store.

Probably best not to ask at the store tho, if it's an offer that's been left on by accident they're just going to take it down.

All fully syn oil for that car spec
Saved aprox £80

Didn't need to do the discovery was only done by land rover in July
