Hey guys,
Just about to replace my FPR, when I noticed on the new one (Land Rover part) it has a part of the casting sticking up on the 'top'.
I think on later models this has a return pipe attached to it?

The part I bought has this blanked off (good?). I have an earlier model I think and the regulator that is currently on it has no such part on the cast.

Will the new one I bought fit, or have I ordered the wrong part?

It seems like there should be space to fit it, but I'm just worried about the gasket sealing.

I could only find the 2 different versions when looking for one (with and without the return pipe), but they both seem to use the same casting.

Any ideas?

Edit: A couple of pictures to show what I mean

It'll fit.

It's because when your original one was made, there was only one design of FPR.

When the later (EU3?) spec one arrived, that had the extra pipe. So, they manufacture all of them using the newer casting, where there is a hole drilled/tapped for EU3, and it's left blank for the EU2 ones.

Thats Excellent news, Thanks David.

I thought as much, but just wanted to be sure before removing the old one!

Thanks again, always a great help on this forum.
