Don't know if anyone has seen this before, but I thought the Freelander did pretty good with ruts like that and road tyres!

Freelanders tend to rely on being light and using traction control. Not many have AT tyres due to the drone created at speed. Especially when they don't spend much time oft road.theres a big question here ......why the hell was he on road tyres when you look at the other trucks ......?

Nice to see you visiting the Freelander section.
I don't think Freelander suspension can soak up all the additional vibrations from AT tyres. From my eggpericnes this was the case. I guess tratterers don't notice it so much due to additional engine noise and everything else rattling. May even be the case the tyres help to cancel out some of the other rattles.I run insa turbos and I don't find those very terribly awfully bad ....? of course freelanders need to drive like a car
if I had been him though I defo would have fitted at's and balls to the noise

Me dad had a tratter. Newer AT's are betterer than the GG AT2 I had previously. Newer ones have improved so drone is less but we like our creature comforts. The Freelander in the video did quite well regardless of the tyres.ah you have owned a tratter before !
im surprised that the suspension on a "land rover " cant cope with a slightly different tread though that is worrying

Some of us go oft road but you have to remember most Freelander owners use their Freelander as the main family car and the daily drive to work so we have to be careful what we do to them. that said you can still have fun oft road with them but you also have to pick yer route carefully or trash it. I suppose that applies to all vehicles. Freelanderers prefer less extreme oft roading.ahh that's why you don't offroad
...
well done that freelander man pity the marshals were useless and fancy pulling the freelander with that massive long rope no wonder he nearly went of the road .if that had been a tratter the doors would have fell of LOL
