just saying hello.
i've been involved with these big meccano sets for many years, owning a ground-up resoration of a S11a
88 truckcab for 14 years now but having found out the hard way that some parts are no longer available or worth buying, it's time to move on and buy a defender90. so now the fun begins with an ex military TUL FFR that's had a tired v8 put in it with dodgy wiring, lpg conversion (the only way to get thru mot emissions) and dual battery system of some weird design. so.... got a good 3.9 EFI which i'm currently rebuilding with a decent cam and planning how to integrate the efi wiring loom into the birds nest i currently have in the truck. so joining this forum will be a hunt for answers about lambda's, ecu's, tune resistors and efi setup when i've built a new, custom wiring loom. happy days.

hi there,
yes, it's become a harrowing but fun journey so far. only pic i've got is just after the Pentillie castle defender day off-road course
where it managed to die right in the middle- yup, electrics. for interest of anyone who was there, the rac found the fault and i drove home.
