Hi

My Freelander has plastic nudge bar fitted and extra driving lights.

I would like to fit Fog Lights but am not sure how...

I know the pukka one use the same pods as the driving lamps.

Can I mount a pair of small hella ones (ie to the nudge bar? is there any wiring in place?

I guess i will need 2 relays etc, also can I buy the dash swich?

I guess I could use the VUB500960 fitting instructions as far as wiring goes.

Thanks,

You need to make sure the distance from the outside edge of the car, to the outside edge of the fog light, is a small enough distance for them to be legally classed as fog lights.
On mine, I mounted them on the lowest grill right at the edges, they aren't close enough to be classed os fog lights, but they were never intended to be so it doesn't make much of a difference to mine.

Edit; just been and checked, the law states that if your not using your dipped beam, with fog lights on, then they can be no more than 400mm from the outside of your vehicle to the outside of your light.
In all other cases, so dipped beam on, then there is no legal distance from the outside edge of your vehicle to the outside edge of you light.
Maximum distance from the floor to the top of the light is 1200mm.
