fog light feed from boomslang

Hope someone can put my mind at rest.

Just doing a few jobs prior to fitting a Boomslang or similar loom.

Noticed that there is a wire running from the offside headlight to a relay under the dash. This appears to be the fog light relay which works as it should.

If I fit the new loom will I be able to splice this wire to the new H4 connector without any problems?

I now realise what a stupid question this was, the feed will still be there whether I disconnect or not, Doh.
