Fog light/demister/hazard switch illumination

Sorry, relatively new Defender TD5 owner here. Have searched for info on this, but is it true that these switches never had any illumination, so you have to find them by feel?!

The rear screen may light up(but also lights on dash)
Hazards flash when turned on
Fog shows on dash..
you sure your for light switch is there and not on the steering column?
That switch is normally interior light/dash lights

And they don’t light up in the dark.

Thanks. Yes, my switches are as shown in the pic (though not in that order!). The dash lights work fine, but none of the switches have internal illumination. I managed to switch on the hazards while trying to operate the demister the other night...

I have a replacement hazard switch that does light up, cant say where it came from though.

those hazard switches can be an absolute fault nightmare also!

My hazard switch does when it's turned on (it flashes) - 1995 300tdi
Others, nah ...
