Hi All,
My 300 tdi key fob is causing me yet more greif. It will unlock if pointed at rear off side window, but will not lock. I'm off to france in a month and don't want it packing up there!! I changed battery with no improvement. 2 questions....... Can I have the fobs re-conditioned and does it have to be the dealer? and can I just by pass the whole system and revert to using the key?? If I use a spider by-pass, can i disconect the alarm and just use key? I have tried the trick with turning key so many times in drivers lock but it just didn't work.
