Hi
I now have two working fobs
They both lock all doors and 'undeadlock' the doors (clunks heard) but dont pop the buttons up. The drivers door button used to pop up, but recently gave up the ghost. I presume this is motors in locks.

But, the lock/unlock button on the dash (lower centre) now also does nothing - it makes some noises happen (I think under the steering wheel) but doesnt unlock or lock doors in any way. It definitely used to lock all doors.

So, I am wondering if this is something more than, or even other than, door lock motors not working

Any thoughts please?

How does this system 'schematically' work?
There are door locks with their own motors and also deadlock motors?
The fob should do what on first click and then on second click? (I know I need to click it twice to unlock tailgate, but should it unlock driver's door on 1st and rest on 2nd?)
What should the dash button do? locks & deadlocks together? or first locks the deadlocks? or just locks?

I dont want to go to all the hassle of changing the door lock motors and then it is a CPU or locking module (or whatever its called) problem.

Thanks

Start with the driver door lock first motors. Sitting inside have you had the door card off recently, as the levers should open manually. Second beeb open all doors and tailgate. Inside the vehicle the console button opens all. Have listen to the driver door locking motor for any motions. The fobs only trigger the inside sensor hence clicking 5 times to reset on battery replacement or disconnecting. If you use the ignition key does this lift the leaver to open.

Thanks!
No door card removal
All levers open the doors manually
Drivers door and all others lock with fob but not dash button, which I find strange
Lots of motions heard, I think in all doors, but I think that is only the deadlock motors, I think
I open the driver's door with the key after fob has turned off alarm but failed to unlock
Roundel is nothing to do with RAF - purely Asthetic / Mod related - love the drawing tho!
I actually think my Green FL1 would look really cool with big roundels on the front doors in a kind of spitfire way but:
1. I think Crocks (normal, bright yellow wellie brigade ones for sailing, leather ones, crock wellies, crock flipflops), including with socks are cool
2. It's WAR on the roads in PT and I dont want to be easily identifiable for key scratchers or other nutters

Sounds like a toggle switch failure. You find the window toggle switch can fail too sometimes 🤨
