now your learning pal,no i havnt posted photos but maybe i will, when I learn how to.when you asked about modifictions to my motor,it came with colour coded bumpers and mirrors, all ive done is have a superchip fitted and its the boll#cks.getting around 23 mpg towing 1800 kg twin axle tin tent and about 30 on a run solo.figures may not be accurate, taken off computer, but they could be wrong in my favour.I can live with that

ok. wot your saying makes total sence i think the gear box is a big let down its all ways in the wrong gear but have found with that bit more power it is better. am i stuck with that box or can i do something about it.im not even shoure it would fit but if it would do you think the box out of a bmw 325d auto would be set up a bit diffrent maybe a bit quicker.. thanks jamie

I reckon you can fit the ZF4HP24, it looks like only the spacer between the auto box and the transfer box is different.
I think the BMW box is the same, the difference being in the ECU. If you look at Ashcroft transmissions site they do a user programmable ECU where you can set your own parameters.
However read the threads on the new MOT's and VOSA. Modified vehicles will supposedly fail under the new rules:eek:
