Hi guys.
I’m fitting the front floor plates to my series 2a and the screws I have seem a bit short these are 320045.
I’m sure there are some longer screws, can anyone please help?
Thanks all, regards Billy.

They are the ones I use is anything out of shape?

That part number is right. They are not easy to fit. Put a screwdriver through the holes and get them lined up, it can take some doing. Are the spire nuts in good nick? They are not forgiving if they are worn.

Sorry for my late reply, computer ended up catching a cold (probably con i virus) all up and running again now.
Thanks for all the replies, yes; I put a screwdriver through holes to get them lined up, I need some work doing on a few
things but with a "stay in doors" policy I just got bored stayed in doors and kept falling asleep?
Anyway I googled for 79048 and thanks Mr JM got the screws and they done the job.

Just watch out - don't use the longer ones in the tunnel without checking they don't hit the gearbox or OD lever bracket. I made this mistake and while it does no harm it makes an awful racket that sounds like the gear box is failing and cuases great anguish until you realise that it is.
