Flippin Tailgate

had my freelander for 6 weeks now, its a oldish one (Y) reg. The tailgate is a problem, sometimes it will open others it wont and the window comes down. The garage where i had it from fitted a new handle, two days later it decides to stop openeing again, V frustratin when i need to use the boot area. The window has a mind of its own, going up and down like a tarts knickers!! Whats up with it? does it need a dealer to look at it to diagnose?

thanks i had a quick look but i think its a bit technical for a woman! i'll get a man to look

also i have 15inch wheels on it, id like some better/wider tyres, would i need to change the alloys or would 16inch fit on a 15inch rim?

The tyre and wheel size needs to be the same. eg 16 inch wheels will only hold 16 inch tyres.

best get lookin on ebay then!
