Flex plate.question

Hello I have a 2002 p38 4.6 auto
The engine is on its.way
I got a quote for adapter to fit om606 diesel engine to 4.0 tranny but the manufacturer says it will fit 4.0 for 100%
About 4.6 he is not sure because he suspects the flexplate/flywheel to be different from 4.0
Does anyone has any info

You could try comparing part numbers on microcat

LRcat suggest they are the same, as do Ashcroft's.
Might be of interest that Ashcroft list a heavy duty one as well as the standard.
