Looking to buy a new abar and wipac lights to fit to my 90 defender. Heard bar reports about Rebel 4x4 and just searcher the internet and found FLATDOG UK. Has anybody got experience buying from them???

They had stalls at billing and a few other shows this year.

Bought a cat replacment pipe from them. good price.

I think there the only people to do an alternative to the wolfe boxes aswell.

Never had any problems with Rebel 4x4, haven't dealt with Flatdog UK.

Rebel 4x4 are good for chequer plate, the best I would say, The flatdog guys seemed very friendly, but I would say the kit they sell is quite pricey, I've got a Genuine Land Rover A-bar on mine, and its very good, apart from the fact that the light mounting brackets aren't square

Also the wipacs will rust lol

I've got a Flatdog A-bar that I bought from Billing 2010. Also bought from Rebel at the show and have no problems with quality from both. Haven't bought from either online or over the phone though.

I got a steering gurad and diff gurd from rebel offline, the delivery took for ever! But got here in the end, build quality is very good nice and solid bits of kit!

How does Rebel 'Offline' work then? ... could be why it took so long to arrive

Had my extended arches from Flatdog - no problems whatsoever.
Chequer plated door kit from Rebel 4x4 - great.

However...

Chequer plated bonnet from Rebel 4x4 is f**king impossible due to the City Link courier (Birmingham depot) damaging it beyond repair.
Neither Rebel nor myself were keen on going for 3rd time lucky.
They did give me a full refund with no quibbles though, so can't fault their service - just avoid City Link like the bubonic plague.

Citilink routinely knock once then go. They droppes my battery when it was delivered and denied it tho on cctv
