Flashing trailer warning light.

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been posting for a while, but Ive almost completed my 110 v8 restoration project.

I'd like to bend ears with regards to the green trailer warning light on my dashboard.

With absolutely NO indicators or tow bar wiring connected the trailer warning light flashed constantly, now Ive got all the lights connected and the tow bar wiring connected the green trailer warning light still flashes.

All indicators and hazard lights flash as they should on my 110, also flash as the should on my trailer board.

The constant clicking from the relay is getting annoying to say the least.

Iv had that.
Put a good earth to all indicators & relay.made sure earth to fuse box was good
& used a different relay. Can't remember if this was a blue wipac or Lucas

Hi Phill,

Thanks for replying.

My original relay was a blue one, but the side melted, so I got a replacement from RimmerBros which was black, I don't think it was a Lucas one tho.

Ok so things I will have to check are my earths to the relay, fuse box and all indicators.

I just dealt with the same issue. I found that my horn wire and indicator wire(left side) were touching. The rubber jacket had worn through. The exact location on my 90 is under the left side wing near the indicator light and horn. The wires are bunched together and then separate, that's were the jacket had worn off. Hope this helps..

Hi Mike
Did you sort this one out as I have the same issue? I extended the siren wires behind the passenger headlight to relocate it and also swapped a blown sidelight bulb in the same side and the tow bar light flashes when I drive. Indicators and hazards work fine all around and all other lights work.
