I have a 2006 Discovery 3, bought 2nd hand from main dealer. 2 days after warranty expired I have Engine Management Warning light coming on intermittently. My local garage have read faults, but nothing obvious, and it goes away for a day or so then comes back.
Secondly, in the last week the back door has refused to open, and there seems no way to open from the inside or with a key, this problem has only been since the car was washed, so could be damp related. How do you open the rear door in an emergency? I can't belive that the only way of opening it is with the handle, apparently there is a micro-switch under the rubber that opens it, may be faulty or just got damp.
Rapidly going off this car! I had a lovely 110 before but fierce Landrover clutch was too much for dodgy knee so had to go. Taxed this week at £435, and not using it much due to cost of fuel, running around in Fiat Panda instead, the shame!
