Hi all, I'm noticing a vibration in the steering wheel - like it is moving up and down. It happens when the engine is labouring a bit during shifting 1-2-3, but also happens when going over rough road/potholes. It's something new that has developed in the past couple of months. Almost feels like some part of the steering column is loose, but there's no play in the wheel itself.
I've recently had clutch and DMF replaced due to failure - the sensation in the wheel remained the same after the replacement, so not clutch related. All wheels balanced and aligned with no tyre issues. Got it booked in with a specialist, but just wanted to see what others thought, as it's a bit of a head scratcher for me.
