Hi all

I have a 2.5 petrol defender 90. My friendly garage man has told me that the reason it is using so much fuel is that the carburettor is worn and not particularly efficient anyway. He recommends replacing it with a weber. Can anyone confirm whether this is the best course of action and, if so, where is the best place to source a weber carb and which type do i need?

thanks

Should have a Webber on it anyway, although the ones used on the 90/110 (nothing like the aftermarket one often fitted to Series motors) does seem difficult to keep in tune.
