I think I have found the cause of the intermittant grinding/rubbing noise on Buttercup.
One of the brake pistons on the rear is a little stiff to back off, when I had a look and cleaned everything up last week it didn't seem too bad but now it does seem a bit stiff.
So, my intention is to replace the brake pistons across the axle with st/steel, won't hurt even if it doesn't cure the problem. I will be ordering 4 x st/steel pistons, are bearmach reasonable quality ? and a Lockheed piston seal kit.
Biggest question I have at the moment is after removing the calipers do they have to be split to remove/clean-up/fit new pistons ? and yes I have had a search and can't find the answer, so split or not??
Thanks in advance.
