Rebuilding my 1983 S3,

It has a 90's rrc chassis conversion.
Thinking about putting the old air bags back on it.

Looking about (and being a bit dumb), can't find any kits.

Has anyone done it before?

What are the issues with doing it?

You better ask in the Range Rover section then as that is what it is. Sounds like a whole lot of hurt give the problems my mate has had with his Range Rover.

Each to his/her own I spose but I never understood the desire to turn a series landy into summat completely different. Its a bit like Rambo wearing a Dolly Parton mask

You are modifying a modified chassis and suspension, so usual comments regarding insurance, IVA, legalities aside, you will be making a lot of it up on your own.

If it was me, I'd get the RRC parts book and manual and make a list of the parts I'd need. Work through the major components, price then up on eBay/paddocks etc....
Figure out the pipe runs, and potential mounting locations.

I'd then start asking questions in the RRC forums, you are more likely to get a wider knowledge base there. There may be better than OEM components and modifications.

Most people on here prefer god's chosen suspension system, the leaf spring, with ten thousand years of development and testing behind it.
