Fitting a winch bumper

I am looking into fitting a winch bumper on my disco 300 tdi. As for fitting, are they just a case of bolting on to current mounting points?

At the moment, I have fog lights and headlight washer jets. What's the easiest way to get rid of these as I assume a winch style bumper will not accommodate for these?

Winch bumpers fit onto the standard mounts heald on by 4 bolts that are on the front of the chassy.
You have to have a different bumper if you have an auto or aircon because of the rads for ether the gearbox or aircon.
As for lights and washers some have them others don't I have an ARB one that I modified to take spot lights and the light washers

A I see I did not read that fully to get rid is easy for headlight washers cap the pipes or just unplug the pump fog light unplug lights move lights wiring in behind the headlamps dont just cut them off, or run a light bar or front spots off them

as gazdav says but I would add, dont just use whatever bolts you've got lying around get some good quality tensile bolts with the correct washers and new nyloc nuts.
