I can get hold of a brand new galvanised TD5 90 chassis for £750, i'm just trying to work out what i need to chop and change to fit my 1989 90. So far I have come up with fuel tank mounts and possibly a different tow bar. I'm currently running a discovery 300TDi mated to an LT77 so would need to get a set of 300 engine mounts and weld them in place too. Are the R380 and Lt77 gearbox mounts the same though? Any thoughts are much appreciated, cheers guys :D

Engine mounts, gearbox mounts I think, rad mountings are different, tub mountings on rear crossmember are different and probably some other bits and pieces too. I've got a brand spanking td5 chassis in my garage for my 110 rebuild and those are the things I've noticed but I haven't had a proper comparison of the two chassis side by side so there might be more.

Cheers guys, I hadn't thought of the rad mounts. The difference with the rear tub mounts is that the chassis tabs sit behind the bodywork unlike earlier ones where they are on the outside, I don't think this should be a problem, if needs be i can always cut/adjust/weld.

Does anyone know where I can buy decent (not britpart) engine/gearbox mounts? Busy pricing everything up at the moment :D
