fitting a snorkel.

I've got a 90 with a 200tdi disco transplant and i would like to fit a snorkel. i think this would be better on the nearside wing, but this doesn't have a vent on it. Has anyone done this by cutting a hole where vent would be, or would i be better off fitting replacement wing with vent?

Looks like we are in the same boat. Mine is a Def 200tdi on a 110 and I will need to do the same thing. Does anyone have any templates?

I had thought of just using whichever snorkel i fit as a template. Anyone any thoughts on which ones are best. I know Safari's get a good name, but i like the more traditional look of the mushroom tops.

check out southdown 4x4's snorkels i've got the same problem and i think these are the best solution. Also there on special offer at moment.

or try and get hold of a military one, they go through the vent at the top
