Hi J, I fitted my dog guard yesterday in my 1998 disco. The gaurd fits behind where the rear seats close, I know this might sound obvious, but I couldn't figure it out at first, there is a gap, but it was tricky closing the seats back up.. I had to put the gaurd in with the seats down and then close the gaurd in the gap, making sure the rear seats close into their catches properly. When it was in posistion I had to fit the parcel shelf cover/rollercover, you have to do this to make sure it can close properly, because if the dog guard is fitted too low it obstructs the the roller cover. Once the guard is at the correct height, I had to put the drill through the holes in the guard and with a 3mm hss pilot bit, drill into the body. I then used some 40mm no. 8 screws to fix. Hope this makes sense mate, Geoff.
