Fitted my Overdrive :o)

Piece of wee wee to fit.... Took just over an hour.

Took her for a drive, 50 mph and the engine sounds like its enjoying itself rather than screaming, bit of a whine coming from OD (Yes its got oil in) What could the whine be, or is it normal?

although i've never been able to hear mine when its engaged as the injun is so foookin LOUD!!

fits yer top speed now?

Speedo on mine bounces all over the place and also running over size tyres (265x85x16), so not too sure on top speed.

But can overtake wagons on the Mway now so its over 55 mph...

No, they should be quiet, mine was when I fitted it 20 years ago. It isn't now!

"they nearly all do that" would be more accurate.

i got hold 3 boxed unused ODs last year and every one of them whines now they have been fitted

as does the bloke who sold them to me as he's now found out what they were worth
