First winch

Hi,
i have a winch. Unsure of brand how ever i wanted to no if there is any maintenance it needs

it runs and pullswell

just sounds a bit dry

its quite old i think but seems to work well

If you take it apart to clean it, do NOT use WD40 like I did, it caught alight when I ran the motor:doh:.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, don't use wd40 for anything that your rebuilding, it will rust after 40 hours, I rebuilt mine using Lucas oil red and tacky, high temp waterproof Greece, use it on every thing, props ect, that stuff sicks and doesn't come off even your hands
