Hello. I purchased a 2008 Vogue yesterday and hope to bring it home on Wednesday. I live in Wrexham, North Wales and I will no doubt be depending on this forum for help and advice going forward.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Welcome to the insanity that is LR ownership.
Rangies are the "posh" end of the forum and so the jealousy tends to seep into the posts and comments from the Mudplugger end. Ha! Ha! ;-)
But in all seriousness you are in the best and right place for help, comradeship and advice. The collective LR wisdom on this forum is immense and you are in good hands (except mine, i'm an arse).
I hope you enjoy your purchase, it looks lovely.

Thank you. Like I said I'm not a stranger to owning a PITA car, and I agree that being a member of a forum like this is imperative to being able to keep said PITA car. I just hope she breaks me in gently instead of throwing me in at the deep end!! I should be ok to do most of the work myself hopefully.
This was my last vehicle. I purchased it as a standard truck and then "reworked"it a little.

On behalf of your Range Rover please may I beg that you don't do anything like that to her. She will not appreciate it. Other than that, welcome and see you in the RR forum sometime.

No chance of that. Apart from EGR blanking I'm not planning any mods for this vehicle.
