First Land Rover

Hello all, I live in South Wales and have taken the plunge and bought my first Land Rover, a 2010 Freelander 2 HSE. It's high mileage at 125k but does have a full-service history and seems to have been well cared for. I agreed on a fair p/x for my own car and the dealer has agreed to fix the 2 advisories from its recent MOT. Also, as there was no written evidence of cam belt replacement he is having that replaced for me but not sure if that includes the water pump. The car is really nice and comes with a 3-month parts and labour warranty and is priced in the middle of dealer prices according to the Autotrader guide. I will have to wait for the work to be completed before picking it up and will post some pics soon after.

Just make sure there is a rear prop shaft fitted before you drive it off the forecourt

Thanks, Hicap Phil, I managed to crawl under enough to check. It was a bloody wet afternoon and my ancient bones are still complaining but I am glad to report that the shaft is there.
