Who ever designed a gearbox with a hidden bolt behind the IRD wants shooting, unless you remove the IRD then it cannot be reached in any format, I have done many clutch changes but this has got to be the worst I have ever had to do.
In the end I took the engine and gearbox out of the car to do it.

The problem is that there is little information on Landyzone, if you look at the rover-mg forum there is unlimited information, considering that there is a lot of landrovers on the road were is all the info, not even a workshop manual to refer to.

I'm sure it does, but there is no mention of Rave on Landyzone. Oh yes there is, its on every other thread almost!

Even the rather haphazard LZ search on "workshop manual" found a link on the 3rd result.

Really, ..it does? well I am amazed........In shock in fact, I better sit down....:p.but then again apparently there is little info on LZ .....LOL

I think the OP might have spat his dummy.........If he had asked, I am sure someone would have posted a link to rave..:)

Cheers

He joined in 2007... and he only just needed a manwell... he must have a reliable Freelander.

We should be nice. It's an easy mistake.
