Evening ppl .

just been reading through the long
Sluggish disco ....... not no more!
thread and would love to be getting on with these mods and tweaks. I have just fitted a EGT gauge and turbo gauge to be safe .
But I know my pump has a new fuel pin. It is a fourby one we’re it can’t be turned to increase or decrease the slope of it. and the star wheel has been moved as well as the torx screw.

So am wondering if there is any 300tdi owners left that has a standard pump or any one that could just tel me how to set them back to original settings .
I was thinking there could be a certain number of threads showing on inside of the cap were the smoke screw is as standard compared to screwed on 1 or 2 turns ?

Or maybe a certain hight the diaphragm sits off the back of the housing.. ie some ppl set them 7mm high using start wheel , some have them wound down to 3 or 4 mm.

Any info be much appreciated
