Finally bought a Disco and...

After having a few months away from LRs (sold the P38 in August) I have found myself giving in to temptation and buying a Disco 300tdi which I probably should have bought first time around.

Its a 1997 import auto which runs great but has a few bits to sort and any advice would be great

1) The SRS light comes on now and again but after reading a few posts on here im hoping its just a loose wire. Yellow one under seat keeps coming up in posts so will check that.

2) The oil light comes on from time to time. Could this be a sensor or is there a more common fault I should look for?

3) Cruise control isnt working. Is this a similar set up to the P38? all I had to do with that was replace a pipe.

4) The dash is still in kph including the speedo. Does anyone know where I can get a new front showing mph? not too bothered about the milage just like to know what speed im doing.

I have read the threads about egr blanking, decat and pump tweaking and will be starting those once I get the niggles ironed out.

SRS connections - there's usually one behind the glove compartment as well, I think (not sure about the TDi though)
Cruise control is usually a split pipe like you say.
Speedo - why not just cut some very thin strips out of sticky paper and stick them on the glass at the major points (30, 50 and 70)? Save you a lot of cash.
