hi lads,
has anybody had any dealings with the faultmate,that u get on ebay.car playing up again,keeps immobolising the car. and need to keep takin it to diagnostics man at 80sqid a pop,its now gettin to be abit of a joke and expensive,just wondering if it would be cheaper gettin afaultmate, would they be able fix engine immobolisation and other problems.cheers pat.

Even if you had your own dealership you probably ought to be sorting the problem rather than the symptom. So, can you give us any more details on the fault, there's some very knowledgeable people on here (not me) keen to help.
 
here goes,alarm was being triggered, which was then immobolising the engine and stopping the fuel pump from sending fuel,so had to take it to get rebooted with diagnostics man,this happened 3 times same problem,then found out back door wasent locking hence alarm being triggered, at the same time i think battery being drained in the process,disconected back door no problems put wire back into button and its a way again,surely when u put key back it should demobilise itself, has any body had any problems with their boot cheers pat.
