As a new member and even newer to Land Rover ownership I have noticed that there is an absolute wealth of information on here and it has helped me out no end.
However, the search function is good, as with all good forums but having spent the last 12 years owning, building and racing Hondas at various levels of competition I have become accustomed to some really really well sorted forums.
May I suggest that a moderator/highly regarded/knowledgeable member with time on there hands could perhaps throw something similar to this into each of the tech sections.

It would hopefully cut down drastically on the repeat topics and of course the "use the search function" automated response.
It would also cut the number of new members signing up purely to ask one question then disappear again as I believe the whole forum is viewable without being a member.
I will happily volunteer myself for a go at one, but I have very little landy experience and someone with a few years behind them would at least be able to siv through the ****e and only list what is worthwhile reading.
Hopefully a worthwhile suggestion that isn't from above my pay grade, but it would certainly help me out hugely (even though I know how to search)
