That's the first good news I've heard from JLR for years. It's a sign of at last properly recognising their own heritage. If you were being cynical it's in the safe knowledge there are wealthy buyers out there. That said it's long overdue for land rovers to start acquiring some real classic status alongside other post war Brit cars. There would be a stampede if they did the same thing for S2a and 3.

they should certainly offer genuine new parts including galv'd chassis and bh's imho for all the old models

JLR will soon be ordering an assortment of various sized hammers and a swear box.
