The fans on my Freelander 2002 Diesel do not seem to work, are they supposed to come on when AC is switch on? Left car outside on tickover for an hour got hot but fans did nt come on, pleas elet me know

Had my td4 nearly a year and never heard the fans running,no they are not supposed to come on with the a/c .The temp guage never goes above half way on the scale.

Yep Daz is Reet. . . .fans are there for very hot stuck in traffic days, as a back up ,soon as you start moving wind takes over
