Hello, greeting from Concepcion, Chile, I own a 2002 freelander engine 1.8K.
My question is this about the operation of the electric fans. I have a free 2002, powered 1.8K. The engine runs smoothly and the cooling system flows well.
My question is every time I've tried running the fan, heating the engine and then leaving it parked a few minutes only works on low speed and feel that does not cool the water. The needle should not exceed half at any minute but become hoses temperature not supporting hand, the bottom and top so that the thermostat is working.
When operating the air conditioner start both fans at full speed so I discard a possible fan problem.
Should fans always at full speed from? considering that there are outside 30aC and hoses do not notice any difference between the temperature above and below the fans when they work or do not work, or is it just a perception problem?
I remain attentive to your comments to see where to look, maybe the temperature sensor or maybe the relay?
regards
