Hi All,
I'm hoping someone can help. I have very worn bushes in my FWH (item 10 pictured below).
I have searched a bit around the usual parts suppliers but most say no stock or obsolete, i'm hoping somebody knows somebody or somewhere that have these bushings or... a bearing that would do the same job.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would take them to anyone you know with a lathe and get some made out of oilite, I thik they only carry a load when you rare in freewheel. Its worth measuring as you may find a ball race with the same dims.

Could try Dunsfold. They stock a lot of discontinued parts. Let us know if you get a source, I’ve got them fitted to my landy.

No problem with the French i thought........Right click, translate this page made it much easier.:D

but after cleaning one of the two presents a game at the base to the ring of 10 grooves for the tree
looking at closer I have one that has no play and the other that has an axial play of 1 good mm (the other almost nothing) (I have 24 flutes in perfect condition but a little bitch of boning them and I do not have the trees to mount them on my bridge):).

Made me smile. I am going to see how much it will be to get them turned vs new. Thanks again.

Mornin, just an update, my local bearing supplier says there is no ball race bearing that will fit, metric or imperial.:(

At the beginning i thought there were no bushes available so the plan was to look for a bearing to replace them. Thanks for the link i will give them a ring.

No idea where in Kernow you are, but there is a chap called Bob in Camborne who is very experienced and knowledgeable about all LR parts. and sells them. You could try giving him a ring, no website, but he can be reached on 01209 612799.

About 5 mins away from Bob. I have spoken to him and he said i would be lucky to get any parts for them and probably best to remove them as when it's on the road, mileage would be limited. Personally i kind of like the job they do.

Good that you are in touch with him anyway. What he doesn't know about landrovers and landrover parts isn't worth knowing.

TBH, when I had freewheel hubs on a Series, I never used to unlock them at all, so having them was a bit pointless.
