Hi dose anyone know if the do a aftermaft iso ( radio wireing harness for my facelift radio ..mines the one that has a square contector on the rear with round pins as im after fitting a aftermarket radio will upload a picture if anyone can help

Well I've got a JVC in my facelift D2 and that's connected via a wiring adaptor so yes, something is available. Also you might want to get FHY100290LNF which is the trim bar that fills the gap left when you remove the factory head unit.

I believe the round plug connection is referred to as the BMW type connector. I have fitted a pioneer unit with stalk connectivity so retaining full functionality of the steering wheel controls.

p.s. Mines a 02 Disco TD5

mine just has this plug straight into the rear of the radio ,I'd cut the plug off but unsure which wires go we're tbh ,looked on eBay but nothing like what I need, ie from the plug showing into the standard type plugs

Top man sirdread yes I do have steering controls , next issues mays tart a new topic vibration on acceleration from 1500/2600rpm feel it threw handbrake

It must be in the water. Look at my other thread I have a vibration kicking in around 2250. Driving me insane.

Good luck

mines one of these tbh which isn't listers , buggar looks like I'll have to find out ISO wiring diagram to find speaker pairs and lives earths from the unit

2.89 for convertor off ebay .works a treat .mind thrres also another plug square approx 6 small pins .witch was plugged in under the iso conector?

Great thread guys - just what I needed. I don;t have steering wheel controls but assume the lead works anyway to convert the round fitted pins to my shiny new Sony head unit?
And how on earth do i get the fitted plug out the back of the OEM head unit (same one as adaptorman) I've slid the little cover up but cant shift the lead from the back of the original radio! Brute force? or some little catch I'm missing :)
Thanks
Andrew
