Hello all,

New member so be gentle :)

I have a 2003 Range Rover Vogue just over 50 000 miles on the clock. I've had it for some six years and, until now, no problems; super motor.

Earlier this year I did not use the car for two weeks or so and found a flat battery. Jump started with my wife's freelander; no problem. Next morning it was flat again so I bought a new Bosch batttery; fine.

Some months later during a 350 mile drive across France I noticed that the air conditioning fan kept coming on full power for no apparent reason. Next morning; flat battery. Got the battery charged but next morning; flat battery. This has happened about six times now and for no apparent reason. The last time we decided to check the car during the night and found that, although the car was locked and armed, the fan was blowing. The next morning we connected a spare battery to jump start and immediately the connections were made the fan started up. The only way I have found to stop the problem is to have all the air conditioning, heater, windscreen heaters etc. switched off; not really possible with the winter coming. Another point that may be related is that every time we start the car the clock resets itself to 12 00 hours

I have taken the car to three main dealers in the UK and one in France and they all say that they can find nothing wrong or offer any explanation. Help!!

You gave it the cooties when you hooked it up to the gaylander.
