Just not long got myself a Td5 on a 2000 plate and looking for some extra power and performance.

Got myself a EGR bypass kit and ordering a replacement element.

My question is what one i know there are a couple of types ITG and KnN ... pipercross??!!??

Also is there any benefit to getting a stainless steel exhaust???

I will be looking to get it mapped as well in the future

I done a search and couldn't find anything.

Thanks in advance

Scotty

i got a K&N makes a slight differance , have you flushed out your intercooler? that will help (used white spirit on mine) make sure you drain it out properly will smoke like a bastid afterwards ;).

Buckshot, i haven't done that, I take it you need to strip it out??

Im kinda handy with the spanners *cough* worked mainly on Saxo's, but the Landy bit daunting tbf if i break it, the wife will be out with the > :mil4: haha

You might want to check if you have a cat fitted... I know my 2001 90 never had one - still went for the straight though mid pipe... sounds sweet :D

K&N filter works well.

Alive stage 1 re-map, worth every penny.

Disco transfer box/ratio upgrade, reduces engine noise... or higher cruising speed.

EGR bypass was probably the best value upgrade.

Thanks Gribbin, i will check it out. :)

Be looking at a stage 1 map later in the year - breathing , breaks, power always in that order lol.

Was going to remove my EGR today and typical British weather put that to bed.
