External Temperature Gauge

Has anyone fitted an external temperature gauge to their defender?

If so, where did you get it from and where did you locate both it and the external sensor?

All I can see is a tacky silvery model at my local Halfords but I am unsure as to where to locate either it or the sensor.

I know its sad but it is about the only luxury I miss from my normal car, apart from the comfort, heating etc. etc. but thats why we love our defenders!!!!

If that's the only thing your Defender needs you're a lucky boy indeed!
BTW did you play drums for Motorhead?

It's only 2 months old so nothing has dropped off yet. There are loads of other things i would like to upgrade etc. but I can only really afford a temperature gauge!!!! Decent stereo is next on the list.

I play the drums badly - prefer Bass guitar but have played neither for Motorhead unfortunately.

money saving tips
don't buy a external temp gauge just take yer glove off and stick yer hand out the window
or
have a look outside and see if things are white or if the trees are all green and the flowers are out
white=cold
flowers and green trees=hot
