just been on an expedition to tesco - drove the long way home up the steepest, snowiest, quietest roads I could find in the snow

my landy is beautiful

I just drove the doris to Bath and then took the backroads into Bristol as all the main ones were taken up by 5mph cars and/or accidents! saw some emergency vehicles but the roads are fairly quiet this morning.

Suffice to say, I am one of 2 who managed to drive to work! the other was the MD in his RR :)

Hope these attachments work

Got the van out of the ditch, and got given a free lock knife by him as a reward!! (I forgot to take one apparently!!)

This isn't actually the route to tesco - please don't tell my other half

You sound just like me. I've managed to need to go to "Tecso" every day since the snow satarted.

I just fitted hevey duty trackrods and an upgraded streering damper and thought I would take it out for a spin. hadn't intended to actually spin off the road and into a ditch but thats what you get for being a fanny. First thogught was wife is going to kill me for cocking about (she has simple rules and not cocking about on the road is one of them). Thought I was stuck but managed to rock back and forth and get enough grip to get out.

Might have narowly avoided a bollocking but how much fun!!

haven't you got more excuse for leaving the road as you have had way more of the white stuff than we have on the welsh borders?

Not really we have very little up here, just a load of ice. Turns out those south of here are getting tons of the stuff. My mate in Wilmslow is compleatly snowed in. Mind you he has a focus!
