exmore trim defender seats.

Hi everyone.

I am finally getting around to changing the seats in my 110 defender.

I’ve got a pair of fronts, recliners with seat runner bases, both Exmore trim and a complete set of three rear matching seats, in Exmore trim with the frames, which I am taking out. The Exmore trim is a light grey with what looks like a brown fleck, fabric.

I was told that these where a year old when I purchased the defender 18 months ago. After a few 4 to 6 hour drives my daughters now complain the seats are still hard. As no one sits on them very often, these have not softened up.

I am having a frame made for the rear seats and putting a split seat from a VW Passat and the fronts too (after some modding).

The original defender seats are in great condition and will be available to sell later, but any ideas how much they are worth?.

I will post some pics later of everything that will be available, frames, seats, clips etc.

Hi dave, sorry for the long delay getting back to you. Yes I still have the seats, Iv been working away so just got back. Will get pictures up within the next 24hrs.

As promised some pics of the seats for sale.

They were all professionally cleaned at the beginning of august and hardly used since.
The fronts look a slightly lighter colour, could be from the sun, but once fitted I don’t think you could tell.

I haven’t pictured them but I have a set of homemade seat raisers for the front seats (made from alloy box). Both front seats have the original running gear.
The rears are all complete with the mounting brackets, for tilting, resting plates that you need to attach to the tub base, complete seat frames and the retaining clips system (still fitted in my 110, but will remove for buyer).

As pictured one seat has some stitching coming a drift, an easy fix I think and does not affect them in any way.
These cost over £1800 new, checked the Exmore trim website.

Hi everyone, the front seats have now been sold to Andyred90 on this forum, who I hope is very happy with them.

The rear seats are still here and for sale at £350 Ono.
I really hope some one needs then as the funds are going towards getting my defender running properly.
