Poxy exhaust dropped off on the way home from work tonight GGGRRREEEAAATTT

Had a look underneath and the rear exhaust bracket has rusted off, I've got a 19j and below is the parts diagram for what I should have

And this is the bit that fell off which looks fairly similar to NTC4252

But this is where it was bodged onto, you can see a bit of weld on the crossmember and the length of support had also been added

My question is , what does yours look like (oo er) and do any later models/options utilise the solid looking bracket I've got left, Craddocks are closed until Tuesday so I've had to bodge it myself until then but if some of you could post some pics tomorrow to give me an idea of what it should look like that would be grand

You have had a rear cross member replacement at some point. Thats the new style of fitting.

I may have the 19j hanger lying about if i find it ill send it you , but i dont think it will fit on your x member.

Look on yrm for hangers instead of the gen parte, yrm galv theirs.

When it fell off mine I welded a length of straight 13mm rod coming out from the top of the main chassis leg, and fed the rubber link on over the end securing with a pipe clamp.

IO bought a new one, it bolted straight onto my 300 tdi chassis, the holes should be there for it.

Looking at your photo , the holes are there for it. left of the hanger on there at the moment close to the jack point, 3 holes.

When you put the new bracket on , grease it all up between bracket and chassis, keep the tin worm at bay.

Ill try and get a pic laters if I get a chance.

Mine is welded onto the crossmember. it's a 2006 90. Looks like a similar arrangement to what yours must have been when it was intact. There doesn't seem to be any provision for a bolt on one. It collects water and mud thrown up by the wheels so I'm really diligent with the Dinitrol in case the same thing happens to me. Looks like they went over to a weld-on bracket on the later models.
