I have just ordered what I thought to be the correct rear section of exhaust for my 110 van (p reg); well it looks about right, except the connecting ring has three holes (triangular shaped cuff) and the one on my 110 has two holes! So I guess I've got the wrong one!!!! The other problem is the support hooks appear to be welded to the exhaust. Do I need to order new hooks, or should my new exhaust section have them already on?

Sounds liks you might have the wrong bit... although - was the 110 modified before you got it?

As a rule of thumb though your exhaust should come with the right hooks! And yes they are welded in place.

I reckon you go back to where you bought it, make sure they understood what engine you've got and what year it is, and get them find one that looks like yours. Go in the vehicle so they can have a look, or if you've got the old bit off take it with you.

Excellent - glad you're on your way.

FYI I always get my part no.s from the bearmach catalogues - they're on their website and you can download them in pdf format - some pretty good diagrams in there, especially for exhausty bits.

happy unboltin' and reboltin' up.
