Excessive play on the steering wheel

Can anyone help. I have had all the tyres checked they are fine. I have had the front prop shaft replaced but I seem to have excessive play in the steering. I did tighten up the steering box last week and it was great until the garage re-greased everything. Any ideas on anything i'm missing. Cheers. john.

Just while ye're at it, check the steerin' column uj's and wheel bearings

Yeah will do. Just done all the wheel bearings front and back. all six. Got a day off tomorrow. will get stuck in. thanks.

Sorted. It was the steering rods from wheel to box. Crosses knackered. Cheers Bustersbus
