Excess heat under central consol

Hi from down under...coffs Harbour , australia. I have 1990 Range rover vogue SE swb. I have excessive heat coming from under central consol...it heats up storage box, consol and gear box lever, and lower seats...
Any suggestions how to remedy this?
Car just had new heater core put in last month.

I also note leak in right passenger area when I run air conditioner. Sporadic and usually only when I have air conditioner on and am full throttle ..on motorway...

Have you noticed that the problem only occurs when the engine is running???

1. A gradual deviation from an original course, model, method, or intention.
( you got that right)
2. a drove or herd, especially of swine.
(how appropiate...."my drift" it works for you)

Yeah I checked it out and its still hot when the car is not running 4 days later...Jeez must be the solar heater on the roof is on......

Off to shut it off...
