she is a rare beast being one of the last years with the 109 upgraded front and rear drums brakes and metric flexible hose fittings post 1981 but was out the military on a Q plate by 1987 The odd bit is she was twin tank fitted with convoy 6 way mil lights and infra red kill switch fitted, with hard top but had a diesel on VIN when she left Lode lane and still has evidence such as vacuum reservoir, glow plug resistor and had diesel mounts which i changed At some point before i got her that was changed for the 2.25 petrol 12 volts but she is registered petrol with DVLA so who knows. She also got registered in 87 on wrong VIN!! luckily typo on logbook in 87 discovered when computer MOT station records came out few years back and DVLA corrected as it showed as USA export V8 Rangerover!!

I remember your handle from LRO but been away from there for a good number of years after the bloody ads took over the forum. I see the old forum has been disbanded and LROi is now only a faceache group which is a shame as all the technical content has been lost The old guard did set up a new forum but there is so little traffic it can hardly be viable? Oh well.
